WiMAXCall Admission Control Protocols: A Survey

InWiMAXCall admission control (CAC) plays a vital role in providing the desired quality of service.It is such a provisioning strategy to limit the number of incoming connections into the networks in order to reduce the network congestion and call dropping. Over the last few years, a significant number of call admission control (CAC) schemes have been anticipated for WiMAXnetwork. In this paper, we proposed a survey on various Call Admission Control (CAC) schemes in WiMAX network. Also, we quantitatively compare the performance of these schemes.
